This Creamy Avocado dip is packed with flavour and makes a great healthy snack.
Avocado is a super healthy food. It’s loaded with healthy fats that are good for your heart and your waistline. They are full of nutrients and vitamins and fill you up quickly, because they are loaded with fibre, so you end up eating less! They are easily added to tons of food too. We use them in place of butter in our Chocolate Protein Bites recipe.
- 1 Ripe Avocado
- ⅛ tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp Basil
- ½ tsp Cilantro
- ½ tsp Garlic salt
- ½ tsp Onion salt
- Cut and peel avocado.
- Mash up the avocado until it's smooth.
- Add other ingredients.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Serve with crackers or cut up veggies.
We have been using these herbs from Litehouse recently and we just love them. The herbs are freeze-dried but spring back to life when mixed with a little bit of water. You can add them to recipes without adding the water. We have started experimenting with different combinations for spaghetti sauces too!
